
Due to the handmade nature of Gibson Doyle Stationery, we require a lead time of four weeks between receipt of an order and your preferred delivery date. Final details for Invitations (for example, name lists, venue details, etc) are required 28 days prior to the preferred delivery date.
Deliveries for your Invitations and wedding day stationery (for example, Menus, Place Cards, etc) will normally be made at separate times as the invitations are sent out first and wedding day stationery is usually required nearer to your wedding date. These will be charged at 10.00 postage and packaging per consignment. All personal information for the wedding day stationery (for example, Menu details, Order of Service details and Place Cards details) is required at least 28 days prior to the wedding date.
Additional items ordered after your original order will be priced as if it were a new order. Delivery charges up to 15.00 will apply to the additional items if they are shipped in separate consignments to the original order.
Significant amendments to your order which incur additional costs (such as a change in design which causes purchasing of additional materials or remanufacture of stationery) will be chargeable and will be added to your final invoice.
Whilst we will try to accommodate any change requests you make, please be aware that handmade stationery may take several weeks to make and we therefore reserve the right to reject change requests if there is insufficient time to make the requested change.
All stationery purchased from Gibson Doyle is individually handmade and, for this reason, they may vary slightly from one example to another. Also, please note that, due to the limitations of computer displays, colours may vary slightly from their appearance on our website

Can we book in before placing the order?
Yes it is advisable, many couples do book a slot in our diary months before their wedding day, a small deposit will secure your booking. Certain times of the year can get extremely busy and due to the hand made nature and time element involved, we sometimes have to limit the amount of bookings taken, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Lead-times?
These will be quoted at the time of ordering. Usually invitations can be turned around within 28 days once the deposit has been paid providing all wordings and relevant text is provided no less than 14 days before.
What deposit is needed?
An initial non-refundable deposit of 50.00 is required to secure your chosen date in our diary. Interim payments are to be agreed mutually depending on the size of your order, and the final balance of payment due once your order is ready for dispatch.
Will you send a proof of text for the stationery?
Yes, proofs of all text are sent for checking and signing off by yourselves before printing. Final text details (for example, guest names, order of service, table plan and menus etc) are required 28 days prior to the preferred delivery date. Wordings and text can either be e-mailed, faxed or posted onto us for proofing.
Do I have to order everything in multiples?
No, any of our stationery items can be ordered individually rather than in 10s Orders can be placed via the website www.gibsondoyle.co.uk via telephone Tel: 01422 204408 or by post.
How much is postage and packing?
A maximum postage and packing charge of 15.00 is charged to every consignment sent. Normally if just invitations are required then only one charge is made. For peace of mind, we use an insured courier service for large consignments with guaranteed next day signed for delivery to your chosen address and Royal Mail Special Delivery for all others.
How will our invites travel in the post?
All our invitations are supplied with appropriate protection. Each of the Classique, Plume dOr, Paradis, Papillon and Rouge Perles day invitations come with their own special posting box. All other collections are supplied with protective bubble squares to protect the designs.
Can you print guest names onto our invites?
We are able to print your guest names onto your invites for only 50p per invite, a super finishing touch!
